Drill Well Training
To strengthen the MPA's (Masyarakat Peduli Api) capacity in fire prevention and control, several training sessions are conducted. These include training on borehole well construction and installing groundwater level measurement devices.

Rewetting (Canal Blocking)
To mitigate drought and prevent fires in this are, canal blocking is necessary, as the peat swamp forest becomes very dry and fire-sensitive during the dry season. This is the canal blocking done in one of our villages.

Patrol & Monitoring
To prevent forest and land fires, the Fire Prevention and Control Team conducts patrols six times a week during the dry season in the project area. The joint patrols with the MPA aim to analyze potential fire risks, such as illegal logging, land clearing, and unauthorized access.
